IMG_2392IMG_0976 IMG_0977     Recently P.F. Candle Co.  launched their new scent Black Fig and I’m obsessed! I love the smell of this candle because it isn’t overwhelming and it isn’t really feminine or floral. I’ve been burning mine in my living room almost every night because it really sets an ambiance for my little apartment. To celebrate their new scent, P.F. Candle Co. sent me the sweetest little care package that included their Black Fig room spray. I had never tried their room sprays before, but I’m officially hooked. I love to spray it on my sheets and pillow cases after I tidy up and right before I go to bed!

*special thanks to P.F. Candle Co., for partnering with me on this post!

Shopping Small + Big

Whether you are shopping small boutiques, or your favorite department store, it is officially the season to shop till you drop. We have started our Christmas shopping for friends and family, and of course each other. Last weekend, following a morning drive for breakfast, we ended up at the Grove in Beverly Hills. It was the weekend following black friday so everything was on sale, and of course I couldn’t leave my favorite Nordstrom location without snagging a new pair of shoes. During the week, we also had a first time visit to a cute little boutique in Venice, called The Golden State . We picked up a new candle for our home and I, for one, am obsessed with the scent! I hope you are having just as much luck as we are at finding the perfect pieces for the ones you love. Happy Shopping Season!

Giving Thanks

November 27, 2016

LateJanuary Thanksgiving LateJanuary Thanksgiving  LateJanuary Thanksgiving    We were able to spend our first Thanksgiving together in our own place this year, and it was nothing short of perfect. I planned the dinner to be simple, traditional and small; I definitely didn’t want any side dishes that were just there to fill the plate. We moved the dining room table from the kitchen into the living room, to eat next to our bay windows just as the sun was setting. The food was simple and hearty, and the company was happy. Talking with family about forgotten memories and upcoming excitements was everything we needed to make us even more grateful for the things we have in our lives. I hope your holiday was just as fulfilling as ours was.
