I hate to admit it, but I’ve missed the cold. I’ve been missing that sharp air that stings your face when you first walk outside, the need to layer clothing, and the beautiful magic of a fresh snowfall. Jord and I both went to school in Utah, so we are used to cold winters and white Christmases. Since we moved to California, we’re still getting accustomed to the whole “60 degrees winter” situation. Being that it is technically fall, and heading quickly into winter, we decided to go on a drive to find a cooler climate to really start celebrating the change of seasons. (Also, not to mention, an excuse to break out one of my favorite flannels!) On an overcast day, we drove north along the coast into the hills and spent some time out of the city chaos. Even though Malibu isn’t quite the grand mountains of Utah, it still had a beautiful appeal to it. Where have you adventured to lately?
